BRIEF HISTORY

Our staff has had the pleasure to serve you with a smile since 1935!

Olympic Stationers opened on April 13, 1935 and was owned by the Evening News (now Peninsula Daily News), giving the peninsula an office outfitter and stationery supplies services. Another service offered was typewriters and adding machines repair & rebuilding. Hibben (opperator) also declared delivery of office supplies from Port Townsend to Forks. Hibben wanted him and his staff to be acquainted with the people of Port Angeles, and for them to feel at home in his store. "Only by knowing thoroughly the needs and wishes of the people can we give the greatest service, the kind we want to give" - T. Hibben. We carried "all kinds of office furnature, bookkeeping systems, chairs, filling outfits, safes, stenographers' supplies, everything needed we'll furnish even to arranging the floor coverings". Hibben was dedicated to provide the peninsula with office supplies, which we continue to this day!
